Windows apps I miss in Ubuntu

1. Acrobat : In ubuntu, there is absolutely no alternative to adobe acrobat. Pdfedit is trying to emulate acrobats functionalities but they are too far from realising the goal.

2. Microsoft OneNote : Lets face it, one note is simply the most outstanding piece of software created by microsoft in recent times. There is no alternative to Onenote in windows, so hoping for a viable alternative in ubuntu is a bit unfair.

3.Games : there are not enough games. I miss Rise of nations, Cricket, Age of empires, Civilization, Simcity.

4. iTunes : I miss itunes because in ubuntu, there is no media player which has got music management capabilities of iTunes. Banshee, Amarok and Exaile do come close but they just dont have it. To give credit to these softwares, they do offer some features which are lacking in iTunes.

5.Microsoft Money : gnuCash is an alternative but somehow I am not very comfortable with the interface as yet.

But, are these reasons enough for me to miss Windows? Naah!! Ubuntu/Linux is just too classy. On second thoughts there is one app which makes me miss windows Virusscans.Too bad, you dont need them on ubuntu.
